Just a teaser, but I've just dropped all our 295 X2 prices to sub £500 with them starting from as low as £479.99 :D :D :D
 
An obscene deal, near enough the price of one 980!!

If you don't have a GSync monitor, I see no argument to get a 980 over this to be honest.

Freesync coming to OcUK in Jan-March, we have exclusives on Samsung and LG potentially! :D
 
Epic deal, only thing that comes close for that price is two 970's. If you've already got a PSU that can handle it and your case cooling is okay I'd go for the 295x2

Yes and some of the monitors look interesting (21:9, curved, etc) but I see no 1440p 144hz :P

I wonder if nVidia will end up implementing "Freesync" seeing as it's an open standard.

Some things at the rate they are selling might sell out sooner though.

Me too, when they went to £700. Then the price didn't go back up so I sent it back. It was expensive but I thought I was getting a deal. Then the prices didn't go up, the the 980s came, then there were price reductions and the 295x2s were less than £700. Made me vary cautious about getting them if they devalue that quickly.
Plus there's the whole fuss about them not overclocking as well, which put me off too.

Still if it's a sign of things to come, looking forward to the Black Friday 290X prices!
 
Not really since the DSR law has gone and changed to CCR this year meaning OCUK could knock up to 25% off the refund value if it has been used :p

Still I would just contact them and ask nicely :)

Have you used it yet?

Problem is AMD are paying us a large rebate based on sales out so we only get the rebate from AMD on product shipped out this week onwards.

As such if yours is still unused send it back for a refund and then just buy another one and we can simply add this back as new stock.

If it's used then there really is not much we can do as AMD moly informed us this morning they were giving a substantial rebate to help clear remaining stock of 295 X2, a strange move if honest as sales were quite ok but maybe sales were not so good on a worldwide scale.
