Nice eBay question regarding digital downloads

Hey guys,

I'm wanting to sell a copy of the new assassin's creed game on eBay. It's just a key, so I thought I'd better look up how to do it.

That guide says that you should have an option to select "List as digital item"

Does anyone know where I find this??

I'd be concerned as to how you'd prove delivery of the item.

What's to stop the buyer claiming the key you sent them was fake/already used/etc.?

I don't know...presumably eBay have some sort of provision for this. At worst, I could always just put the key into uPlay and see if it comes up as used I guess.

I just search completed items for the digital key I want to sell and then choose "sell one like this"

Even if you sell to them and send them the code via ebay please make sure you post the code, I did a similar thing and 3 months later they claimed charge back with the credit card company nothing paypal or ebay could do.

Why on earth are you risking being scammed on Ebay?

Just sell it in the MM.

You can't sell physical items properly on ebay these days let alone a digital download. Sell elsewhere IMO

Even doing that won't prove anything.

There's no way I'd risk selling something like a digital code on ebay - you have literally no protection, as there's absolutely no way you can prove that the code you sent them was valid.
