Amazon Black Friday Sales *NO COMPETITOR PRODUCTS TO BE DISCUSSED*

I picked up a Sony AS30 Action-camera for £100 (~£60 off) and some Earphones for £11.

Why I bought an Action-cam I'm not sure, but these things happen. :p

The Screwfix one is with a case attachments and stuff, the Amazon deal one was just the Trio from what I could see when I looked at it, if it had been under £40 I might have bought it, definitely have bought for £35 but £45 with no extras is pretty bad as the bits and pieces are quite pricey to buy extra.

Thanks for pointing it out, though the one on Amazon comes with both the cutting bit and router bit, so the Screwfix one has just the case (won't use) and the sanding plates, and I have a dedicated handheld Roby sander anyway.

Thanks though, because I didn't realise but double checked when you said :).

Got my eye on the mitre saw table at 8am tomorrow, though needs to be in the £30s for me to consider which is 50% off.

I see there's a piece of art up for sale tomorrow.

:D

I missed out on one of the best deals a garmin 910xt for £139 it was yesterday. Hopefully it comes along again.

I noticed that particular item, but never went back to see the LD price. That's quite attractive; it's a good job I didn't go back, or I may have bought it to replace my perfectly adequate 310XT. ;)

I've bought far too much already and most of it I could probably do without, or wasn't that much of a deal.

My Bosch Laser measurer was delivered today and the 512gb SSD will be with me tomorrow. :D

:(, I really want the evolution mitre table at 8am, but the chances of me being awake then are slim. Cheapest I can see elsewhere is £49.99

I bought it from Screwfix the day before yesterday for £49.99. It's something my dad needs and it's his birthday next week. Then I notice it's on the list for 8am tomorrow!

I'll be taking a look and if need be returning the one I already bought to SF. But it'll have to be discounted quite heavily to be worth the time & effort.

I think today seems like the worst day so far, not a lot of anything worth having I would say.

Thought I would post this here rather than make a new thread, but I've just been looking for a rice cooker and have just found identical reviews for the same rice cooker on Amazon & John Lewis

Purchased this Tefal 8-in-1 over a month ago but did not want to leave feedback until I had a chance to give it a good try. I almost did not purchase this on reading feedback others had left, and wanted to be as helpful as a i could to other purchasers.
I was after a replacement for my well used slow cooker. The main thing I was looking for was a good slow cooker with a timer, this would cover both and much more.
My first job for my new Tefal was Rice, well it had had to be done. It cooked the rice just perfect. Then I tried the rice pudding in the recipe booklet, which I have cooked twice and found that not stirring the rice was best and it came out much nicer and as we liked it. Of course with all things you have to adjust to taste, and not give up if the first result is not right for you, the recipe is only a standard guide.
Then Something I have never done, I baked the chocolate cake to the recipe and I was amazed it was perfect and enjoyed by my husband. I will be repeating cakes, as it was so easy with great results.
Onward to what I wanted most, slow cooking. I used my own recipe and made a Spanish Chicken casserole, it came out perfect. You may need to adjust timing if you like your vegetables softer.
One person left feedback that said that slow cooking left a smell on the seal. This is so but it does not contaminate say a rice pudding. So don't be to worried about this. I can not say I am bothered about this.
I have started doing porridge on timer so we wake up to a nice breakfast. It did stick a bit on the first go but I have got this covered by not letting the timer run to the end.
Over all I am very pleased with this item and I am looking forward to trying more casseroles and puds.
Take your time and adjust timings to your taste and you will enjoy everything this Tefal has to offer.
