I tend to consider IGN and Gamespot reviews when considering new games. IGN tends overlook the worst in an experience whilst Gamespot tend to be more cynical (sometimes disagreeably so) and generally less prone to hype.
This game got a 9 on Gamespot, which just shows it must be ****ing good.

I usually dont trust igns nintendo reviews as all the big ones seem to be reviewed by the main nintendo bloke who comes across as extremely bias on the podcast they do, gets really defensive if any one has a slightly negative opinion etc
However the reviews for this one seem consistent with other sites, and its smash bros so i would buy it regardless!

Got my dispatch email yesterday, hoping it arrives tomorrow.
Excited, really looking forward to getting it fired up, getting buttons mapped right (not really sure where I'm going to put jump/A/B etc just yet) and then getting stuck into unlocking stuff.

ordered. Was going to get the adaptor but then realised no point since friends playing it are slim + the price of controllers on ebay just shot up!

Damn, didn't expect it to Meta higher than Bayonetta 2!. Two 90+ meta scores for Nintendo exclusives in 2 months is good going and well deserved.

Shopto, The Game Collection, Gameseek and Simply Games almost always get you games 1-2 days early.
All the rest I ordered from them came on the release day. Strange.

Yeah they usually ship 2 days early, my few orders from them all arrived a day before release.
I think how they 'get away with it', is down to Royal Mail 1st class and how it can take up to 2 days to deliver as standard, so they're like... "hey supplier! - we need to dispatch 2 days early to ensure release day delivery". 90% of the time 1st class RM takes 1 day though
