Yea I wish they were more accurate with the ETA's that they list on the product pages. A lot of times they seem to be a guess/ estimate. TBH they should do away with ETA's and just send you a notification email when the item comes in stock instead.
 
Gibbo Im now thinking of getting the Inno3D GeForce GTX 980 "iChill Herculez X4 Air Boss Ultra" as at £455 its a great buy and was wanting this back in September OH OH what do I do hold off or just buy

As far as game stable clocks go max I can go right now is 1450mhz core/ 1900mhz memory. This is due to Galax putting out an EXTREMELY limited bios on this card. The maximum voltage is +37mv/1.2v and 116% power target. Very dissapointing. I am going to do some tinkering with custom roms later and update.

Im starting to think of backing out of the deal and getting something else instead!
 
Bad news, I have been talking with one of the EKWB member and he told me that EK has no plans making waterblock for this series. However, if we could somehow gather 100 piece order or above and with the "push" of OverclockerUK they would reconsider! What do you guys think? I believe both GTX 970 and 980 share the same PCB design.
 
I thought that they had plans for a waterblock for the 980?? I was about to order one but if it's not the case, that's a deal breaker for me

not for Galax GTX 900 HOF series as the PCB is different compared to GTX 980/GTX 970 from other brands and the sale volume is not enough for them to make a waterblock. I am in the same boat with you, planing for white watercooling build with 2x GTX 970 HOF. But the dream seems broken at the moment as there will be no full cover waterblock for this particular series. I am thinking to just get other brands.
