Facebook etc...

Just had a brief look at Facebook and was directed toward this. I have neither the time, nor the patience to sift through pages of - no doubt - mundane and pointless legal drudgery (good word). Some changes are apparently to be implemented on 1st January. The purpose of this thread, hopefully is to inform those like me. (which I assume is almost everyone)

My question is directed at those who do have the time and patience to read these things:

Is there anything interesting, and/or pertinent to a casual Facebook user that one should take note of?

P.s. Poop/letterbox etc

Thank you!

See if I told you to black up, would you do it?

/Tucker

I don't know who Tucker is but I'm very keen. Not sure why...I'm old enough to remember Robinson's jam though... :D

You don't have time to read about how these changes could effect you?

I mean, it's a few pages of text.......

I have time to read a couple of pages of text, but I don't have time to read 50 years of internet history in addition to seemingly infinite pages of legal text to provide the document with context. Hence, thought this might be the message board to ask... we good brah?

Now call me overly optimistic but I would wager if you typed "Facebook changes 1st January" into that Google thingy it would give you a nice summary on the first result ...

edit: I did it OP - it works - who would have thought that!

But you'll trust strangers on the internet to pretend to spend the time reading it and giving you the advice and direction you can't be bothered to determine yourself?

YOu should sign up, it's absolutely fine. I've spent quite a lot of time on your behalf reading through the terms and, whilst challenging and sometimes almost contradictory in purpose, I recommend them. 5 out of 5, would vote again, superb legal work all round.

Are you my landlord?

Please tell me you don't apply the "Can an adult tell me what this means" ethos to your lease in the same way you exhibit your social media legal ignorance and apathy.

I'm not joking.

Mark Zuckerberg himself summed up the people who use Facebook with just two words: 'Dumb ****s'.

Quite.

We all have an energy - shall we say, an inner focus - based around the important things in our lives. I shant critiscise you for displaying your need for full an complete understanding of social media protocol. Nor should I find it at all strange that you feel so concerned about an other's living arrangments.

I prefer to indulge myself with erstwhile pursuits, and I must admit; i am rather happy for it.

Thank you :)
