So you posted benchmarks that shows with his CPU that the 970 is faster in BF4, i must have missed that part of that benchmarks..nope still cant find his CPU in them.

Define high res for you personally mate, for me it would be 1440p. I don't think current gpu's are 4k ready, heck even monitors are only starting to deliver true 4k 2k res, not this 3800 stuff being touted now. Both of those are on Intel CPUs from what I can see.
I have no doubt on a 8350 CPU a 290 with Mantle is faster than a 970 on DX.
and in bf4 his cpu matters what ? literally nothing. also mantle is supposed to make up for that isnt it yet its still worse.
a amd game optimized for amd still slower.
im no fanboy couldnt care who is faster brand wise but when you saying it is faster when its blatantly isnt then thats a joke.
You are continually ignore the specifics of the OPs setup, next you will be ignoring the specifics of someones PSU when wanting to go multi GPU.
im not arguing with you all. the point was the video was taken at 1080. at 1080/1440 the 970 is quicker in bf4 than the 290/290x.
there are literally 20 benchmarks showing this but people just keep saying its not his cpu.

No, sorry mate. No arguing either. What I mean is your opinion on res with current gpu's, myself I don't think 4k is relevant just yet. Hence my mention of 1440p. Hope that clears up what I mean.
You had no clue that Mantle relieves a bottleneck from the CPU?

The AMD setup is hanging on by its fingernails when it comes to BF4, there is a lot of untapped GPU power at low res when i play on my plasma TV and i was doing a comparisons with 2 friends in BF4 and both of them have Intel's and the guy with the 2x7950s was getting at least 30-40fps more than my 3x290s at 1080 because of my CPU bottleneck, its only because i can turn up the the quality, AA and resolution scale of 200% that i leave them in the dust and the GPUs get a serious work out and if the CPU was stopping me from holding 60fps or if i was playing on a 120hz screen then it would have been done.

I'm only on a 60Hz lcd with sli 780's, overkill tbh. But its tiding me over until I can buy a 2560x1440 gsync monitor, swift is too dear. No bottleneck in sli 780's at present thankfully, I'm res bound now lol.
Well i mainly game om my "30 2560x1600 so they dont go to waste, but at low res its the quality and ridiculous AA that can be applied that save the day.
Im going to be trying 5760x1200 Eyefinity next.
