What do you do when you are off work?

Don't feel bad for not being productive on your holidays

They're earned to do whatever you want and if that involves laying in bed all day, playing Destiny and eating unhealthy amounts of food then you go OP YOU GO

If i don't have plans, then usually immediately after finishing work:

Any days that I have off and the other half is working, I normally catch up on the TV Shows / films that she doesn't like and play games :D

I always order Pizza too :D

Om nom nom.

The last time this happened was a fair while ago and now I live with her and her parents while we save for a mortgage I have 0 time with just myself in the house :(

if its in the trout season I go fly fishing

if its outside the trout season...I go salmon fishing

if its outside the salmon season, I may go ride the bike in upper weardale or teesdale, take my camera or just go for a walk

if its blowing a gale and piddling down...ps4!

Friday night: Drink
Sat: Usually forced into shopping but generally go out for lunch to make it more bearable
Sat night: maybe drink (go out with the wife every other week while my girl is at either grandmothers)
Sun: Try for some family activity that doesn't involve shopping and generally fail

When I get a minute, I play Epoch and build and maintain my base (while ignoring any house DIY that I am told is needed)

If

Usually try to get a bike ride or a walk up the hills with the dog or something in... At the moment though it's WoW, just WoW whenever I get chance :p

Going round my brothers for a poker night tomorrow though... no WoW :(

Edit: crap just remembered I'm supposed to be going Christmas shopping tomorrow... Nooooooo! :(

Today I have set up a security cam on our drive after finding out that the old women across the road has home care, doctors and home carers visiting her and all are parking in my drive. So far I have caught the district nurse went out and blocked her in my drive with my car:) Some people has some blummin cheek.

Relax, read a book, do some DIY, see friends, work on the car, play a game or two, travel, go the gym, watch a movie or two, go for walks, see family... love time off, I get to catch up on stuff I don't get a chance to do during the week or when working.

How'd that end up going? lols

Though how could she park in your drive if you had to go out and block her with your car. Wouldn't you have been parked in it?

I know I said I wasn't doing anything. But I'm thinking of shaving my head and growing a goatee(maybe even dye it ginger), then I'm going to borrow my parents motor home(they really do have one) and set up a lab in which I can make crytal meth. I know a place where I can hold of some Methalmene on the cheap(nick it basically) and that should give it a nice blue colour that will make it stand out from the competition.
There's this spacker I used to go to school with who I'm sure I can get to do all my dirty work and running around so that should leave me free to concentrate on the science.

Pretty sure no ones ever tried it before.

I try not to be off, because when I do take time off I end-up having to help with the mucking-out of stables etc. :(:(

Summer months are best as she is off horse riding a lot more than this time of the year, and I get more time for man things. ;)

Unless I'm just using up leave at the end of the year I always go away somewhere, even if its just a UK citybreak.

This

Hardly ever 'never' do anything, even on my days off in the week i'll try and visit somewhere new, or book a hotel for the night somewhere away from home. Which, ironically, is in probably the most pitoresque part of the country - at the foot of Scafell!
