I tried that but I couldn't make it work for me so I went back to using tap up to jump and tbh I think it feels more intuitive.

One thing I will say is that the pro controller is streets ahead of the main gamepad - I can't see anyone playing this long term on the gamepad - not a chance.
 
Might just be me but on the tablet the button location seems an odd choice, i'd have swapped A and B around and the same with X and Y. When my pro controller gets delivered today i'll set it up properly.

I'll be on in the day as off work until Monday and will also be on tonight as having a quiet one. If anyone fancies the odd game then by all means chuck me an invite: SegaMegaDave01 and then chuck a game invite.

I'm not exactly good so i'm sure i'll be a good confidence booster for people lol, would be good to get 4 of us on a session for a few games.

Got my copy today with the adapter, I went through flubit and it went through Amazon. Not sure why N decided y push back the release if this would happen.
 
My adapter bundle was delayed also, I jinxed it!. Although I think it's as much Nintendo's fault as Amazons. I had a separate order for standalone game which wasn't delayed fortunately.

Luckily managed to nab an adapter from nintendo UK store this morning before they sold out an hour later, should get it tomorrow.

are you planning 8 player smash? :D

to be honest, I really want some of my friends to have a laugh on this, but they're all Xbox/PS addicts, I'll have to subtly bring it round their house and set it up while they're not looking! :D
 
Really glad the online works well. Was the only reason I bought it so its a relief it isn't awful. I had faith in it being good after MK8 though.
 
Does anyone want to play some 1v1s? I want to practice a new character and don't feel like doing it in For Glory.

I cancelled the bundle order, so will just have the 1 GC adapter for now :p.
I know a few people with the game who are also getting adapters, so will most likely be playing 8-player at some point. Over the holidays for sure!.

I should be on later tonight and a lot over the weekend, happy to play some 1v1s.
I think I am kinda bad though, things are taking so time to get used to again and I'm playing clumsy :D.

Played 10+ games of 4-player 'for fun' online and the netcode really is great!, some little pauses and noticeable delay here and there, but in some matches I almost forgot I even was playing online...
 
It really depends on the other players connection. I've had about a 50/50 split of laggy mess and perfect connection.
