A High Court judge rules that Andrew Mitchell probably called Police Officers "plebs"; some philandering ex-MP, Cabinet Minister, award-winning broadcaster and QC swears at a cabbie; Thornberry tweets a mocking photo of some builder's house covered in Union flags. It isn't only ex-Etonians who are completely out of touch with the average voter.

Not one of them represents us, they should all have an opportunity to gain a greater understanding of living on benefits - long term.

It's funny because amongst average people I know, people swear at cabbies, people look down on chavy families that cover their houses in england flags and people have bad days(or normal ones frankly) and swear at people.

What the problem here is people acting normally, but being held to a different standard, then other hypocrites banging on about they don't represent the average voter when the incidents actually spoken of almost perfectly represent average votes... they are people and have opinions.

There are plenty of reasons these people don't represent average voters, but when you pick the "normal" things they do and talk about how they aren't normal, it just comes across as ridiculous.

Talk about the 3million in houses she owned and how voting against rent protection of something is helping herself rather than the average voter who rents rather than lets. But acting normally, being judgemental and being a ****, that is bang on average.

The problem is... we keep electing them.

I think someone who covers their house in England flags (it wasn't the union flag) is a bit of a tard tbh.

Someone swore at a cabbie?? Better sell that to the sun then, bet he didn't do it to raise awareness and give the money to charity did he?

Someone called a policeman a pleb? Well if I swore at a copper I would expect to be done for it, not dragged through the courts at the expense of however much to the taxpayer.

Pointless thread, people are fallible end of, if you ever find an MP or such that isn't human and therefore can please everyone let us know.

As far as I know it is not illegal to swear at a copper as for calling them plebs. I thought we were all plebs to all politicians. Perhaps a little more so to the Tory toffs but my experience of Labour politicians makes me fee that they to have a low opinion of joe public.
