Buying Furniture?

Can anyone recommend some decent places to buy furniture? Looking for some decent quality stuff that won't fall apart.

I've got around 2-3k to spend on a bed, desk, wardrobe and a few other bits like side tables etc. I'm useless at this sort of thing so wanting some stuff that I can just easily match up.

Anyone got any ideas or recommendations that isn't Ikea?

We first came across the company through Ebay at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MODERN-MA...vingRoomFurniture_EH&var=&hash=item27e0dd93a8 , but then found it cheaper to buy direct (even though we would miss out on Nectar points and dealing direct gave no delivery cost discount for multiple items).

I drove up and visited these guys. Looks like a good outfit and they have good reviews. They will be doing a lot of work for me.

You've got to have a screw loose to buy furniture without looking at it first.

It's good to hear a positive comments about them. Was thinking of having a couple of bits made as I've given up trying to find the right furniture. Do you have any comments about prices? They seem extremely competitive on items they have priced up on their website. What about lead times?
