Don't often get to see pictures like this :o

The incomplete Marussia 2015 Formula 1 car design has been revealed after the teams financial collapse. Shown here as an incomplete wind tunnel model the car which would have been called the Manor MNR1-Ferrari carries over much of the 2014 design.

The article mentions new nose regulations which this car was obviously built to pass. Does the front of that car look like a ramp to anymore else?

Still hoping that they can get a buyer or some investment but it's not looking too good at the moment and it'd need to be soon to give them a better chance of finishing that car!

Not sure that would be a full 2015 spec nose, as I thought they had a minimum width significantly wider than the current penises?

Its quite sad to see all that effort reduced to a pile of bits stacked on a meeting room table ready to be flogged :(

They had max chilton on the end of season special on sky f1 the other night, he was suggesting that it may not all be over for them and theres a chance they could be in it next year. I suspect it was wishful thinking to a point but it does sound like a little hope remains.

I don't see how? That factory getting all the stuff sold from within it is Manor, branded as Marussia. The only way they can exist next year is if a single buyer buys the whole lot, and somehow manages to build a car in time.

I think I saw that, didn't he also say that when all the crew were ready to fly out they were awaiting a payment to come through, it got to the stange ehwere they called it off and then the payment came through, so they could have made it.

Would that be the freight company owned by Bernie that all the teams have to use?

It's not owned by Bernie, it's a contract managed by FOM isn't it? They use UPS, but my understanding is they are flights and haulage specifically for F1 rather than the 'normal' UPS distribution channels.

There's a user on here who works for UPS who might know.

I thought it was DHL? Either way I believe you're right on the setup.
