I couldn't help but wonder as to what GD's reaction on this would be :D

Could she 'out-Borris' Borris as the world's most unintentionally amusing candidate? I, for one, am happy to forever bow to the excellence of Boris. Hell, make him PM. He'll cause the end of the world for sure... but we'll all go out laughing!
 
I doubt she will even become labours offering when it comes to the vote, let alone the Mayor.
With the void left by borris one wonders who could possibly follow.

The only possible labour candidate who has a chance of winning is Tessa Jowell, the other two names mentioned have done nothing of any note
 
If they were worried about London becoming too out of step with the rest of the country as far as the economy goes, then Dianne Abbott as Mayor would certainly be one way to fix that.
 
She shouldn't even be in a job. How long would a white MP last if they said the same kind of thing about black people on Twitter? They wouldn't last 5 minutes.

There would be an uproar and i'll give you one guess who would be the first in line to call for a resignation.
