Ok I think im going nuts or I have done something wrong here.
Acording to my Aquaero pro 6 and the connected aquacomputer high flow usb Flow meter, i am only getting 151-lph. before adding the new pump into the loop i was getting 137-lph. becuase i was told on here my flow was to slow i (I should aim for 1 gal per hour or something)drained my loop(thank god i added a drainloop), and added another d5 varior pump(now making 2) while i was at it i also swapped a 90 fitting with a 45 fitting so it was a smoother run. and also shortened the pipe. i double checked to make sure there was no kinks nothing being crimped. as far as i could see.
The reason for the loop order was to try and make a cascading loop.(so if i needed to empty the loop it would be really easey,a nd it is very easy to empty.
new loop order:
480 rad-out>Mobo-in>mobo-out>Cpu-in>Cpu-out>d5/pump-in>d5/pump-out>Pump/res combo-in>Pump/res combo-out>360 rad-in>360 rad-out>flow meter-in>flow meter-out>480 rad-in.
When in aquasuite 2014, i click on the mps demo, set it to lire per hour (via aqua suite 2014 settings)i get the below readings in the circle.
Now when i change from litres per hour to uk gallons per hour. i get the below readings in the circle.
Does anyone know if my flow meter needs to be calibrated i cannot find anything on the one i have that says it needs to be. could it be faulty ?
Both the d5 and the d5 pump res combo are both set to there highest setting. so either the flow meter is wrong or i have done something wrong ? i am completely baffled as to what is going on here. i do know that hardware labs rads are the most restrictive. but if the flow meter is correct surely my flow rate should be a lot more, and especially with 2 of them running, and i should be able turn the pumps speed down ?.
Please help it is now driving me nuts considering i paid a great deal of money on this water cooling set up, and i want to buy a new graphics card and water cool that, and the way it is atm(if the readings are correct, adding a water cooled graphics card will impede the flow even more as it stands.
Thank you for reading
