Difference between the two games is just legendaries right?

There are some differences in Pokemon in the two versions, for example Kabuto is an Omega Ruby exclusive and Omanyte is an Alpha Sapphire exclusive.

I got my copy today, will definitely be putting in at least 100 hours in before Christmas, anyone else received theirs yet? Lets post FC to add each other.

The games are largely the same except for legendaries, a couple of mega stones, a couple of pokemon and a bit if dialogue. And a bit of rain around Kyogre in sapphire.

This was the last generation of games that I played, started to lose track of all the pokemon at this point - could just about keep up with gold and silver! Think I am going to get a 2DS for this and upgrade to a New 3DS at some point in the future

Does anyone have Minun from Route 110 on Omega Ruby to trade please? I've got Plusle on Alpha Sapphire, but Minun is like a 2% rate and I've been looking for an hour now

You crazy, Mudkip is probably one of the better starters considering it evolves to a dual water/ground making it immune to electricity as opposed to weak to it.

I went for Mudkip too. Mine was around Level 25 when I fought Wattson. Even though he's Water, as Marshtomp, his Mud Bomb almost one shots the Electric types. Saved me having to go all the way back to get a Geodude.

Ordered Sapphire, the one thing that made me go for it is that if I don't like it then I'll pretty much get back what I paid for it.

Still haven't received mine. Bought it on Friday from ShopTo who usually dispatch same day before 5pm yet it wasn't dispatched until Monday and it still isn't here .

I'm in the same boat. I purchased it from ShopTo on Friday of last week, but I've not received it. Usually they are very prompt. I wonder if there have been stock issues, but to avoid contending with refunds, they've marked orders as dispatched? My dispatch notice didn't even include the picture of the packaging, which they normally include.

I noticed a message on their site asking people not to enquire about dispatch times:

Our customer service team is currently experiencing high volumes of calls regarding order dispatch. Please note if your order status is currently showing 'Completed / Dispatched ' this means it has left our warehouse and on the way to you. This would be applicable for both Royal Mail deliveries as well as DPD courier deliveries. On dispatch a dispatch notice email will also be sent to you. Thank you for your patience, as well as understanding on this matter.

It said it was in stock for me at the time of purchasing, but now the games are listed as on back order? The likelihood is the website hadn't been updated, and we're waiting on said stock.
Funnily enough, under account information, the order status says complete?

Looks **** and has a **** name, definitely the best starter.

I've since replaced him with a Gyarados now anywho.
