Dont find them particularly interesting or fun. Extortionate drinks, getting a "dance" from some bird who only wants your cash, no touchee. Not fun at all. Rather go to a decent club(though getting bit old for that ).

I don't see the point as you can't actually do anything with them...just get frustrated.

Saying that I did go to a couple of strip clubs together with my ex... she was Brazilian though

With the current GF I haven't asked her yet. Don't think she will want to which is fine by me! As she's more than happy to give me my own show

If a stripper is not also a prostitute than it is just a rubbish strip club IMO.

imo if it is disrespectful or not is based on your partners outlook, ive been to a couple with my wife, including a nice meal at stringfellows. i did notice the girls are very different around other women... also she got a free at topless table dance & massage as she has our daughters name tattoed on her wrist which was the dancers stage name.

i have been to a few on stag do's and my wife was fine with them where as at the same time others in the group were terrified their partners would find out.

personally i feel if the women in the clubs are confident and enjoying it and they earn a very good living for charging people to look at them i cant see the harm as long as the clubs have the correct security in place for the girls.

as a side note she had a male stripper for her hen party and i dont have an issue with it... i wont be acompanying her to any male clubs though

My wife would hate it, entirely understandably, so I wouldn't go purely based on that - but I've only been to one once before, and found it an incredibly uncomfortable and fake experience, so it's not likely to ever be an issue.

They're not really my thing, I've been in two and personally I don't really see the point. Would I have an issue if my other half went to a male strip show, nope.

Everyone is different and when in a relationship you have to respect your partners wishes even if it is a deep down issue, insecurity or moral views etc. It sounds to me OP that you have disrespected your partners wishes which are the bigger issue.
