Hi,

I'm looking for the best 140mm radiator fans for my h110. I know I could go out and buy high cfm / static pressure fans but my biggest issue is noise. I'm looking for fans around 20db, I want my case to be quiet... I would appreciate any recommendations :)

Im running the Alpenfohn Wingboost 2s on my H100i and they're perfect. Same performance as the stock fans but quieter!

I've looked but I can't see any reviews for them >< Most of the comparisons for this sort of thing are a year or so old or don't include the latest fans.

Not sure where you'd find reviews to be honest. If you want, when I get home from work I can upload some pictures of my temps with my 2600k @ 4.5ghz?

yes please! My main concern was noise though, what are they like and do you run them full speed?

It is difficult purchasing fans when they cost so much, considering I'm buying four I want to make sure I get some decent ones. I was originally just going to get some noctua fans but I figured I should try and research it a bit instead of blindly buying.

ahh mate, these only go up to 1500 RPM and are dead silent. I have 6 in my ATX case and cannot hear any of them over my reference 290 :D

just stuck a pair akasa apache (120mm) on an h100i which made it much quiter. they do vibrate a bit but some rubber washers on the rad mount sorted that. not sure if they do them in 140mm but if they do, i'd go for them again.

the push pull idea doesn't really add any performance but it does add noise. not worth the effort or cost.

Thanks for doing this for me. I'm still not 100% set on what I'm going to buy, I've gone over it a few times but there aren't any reviews for some of the more recent fans so I'm going to wait a bit.
