Hi everyone,
its been a while since I have been on but you were all such a great help last time I thought I would ask you to help me out again now.

I have just bought a coolermaster nepton 280L water cooler and I want to fit it in my case.

The problem is, I don't think it will in a standardised way, though admittedly I haven't tried yet.

The chassis I have is an NZXT phantom full tower and the mother board that is in it is a sabertooth 990FX r.2.0 though I can get my hands on a crosshair if that would help in any way.

I have never ever, ever fitted water cooling of any description though I fitted hundreds of air heatsinks and also numerous fans so it should be a walk in the park, right?

Could someone walk me through it? I.E. could you tell me how you would fit it in my case or even where if not at the top

It'll be as easy or easier than fitting an aircooler. It should also come with instructions :)
You have plenty of space to mount it in the roof of your case.

Are you sure? ************ says its not compatible. I checked there after I could find absolutely no videos on putting one in a phantom full tower.

I just dont want to dismantle everything until Im sure of where I am putting it.

Hmm, that case runs dual 200mm fans up top. For some reason I assumed that it ought to be able to fit a 280 rad, but that may not be case after all.

Just have a look up there and see what the mounting options are :)

his case does say "- Clearance for top 240mm dual radiator for water cooling solutions" however that cooler has a 280mm radiator

I cant see a way. I cant find the brackets either that came with the case so will have to order some. I guess I will have a better idea then.

I'll continue when the brackets arrive
