UKIP reminisce about the olden days like everything was good. As if in days past, without gay rights, women's rights, workers rights it was all glorious for members of the British Empire.

A non-story? Women have been, and still are fighting for equal rights and fair treatment. Breastfeeding is a natural act and I very much doubt any woman would do it in an ostentatious way. If people are embarrassed or offended seeing a woman feed her baby then they've got the problem not the woman doing the feeding.

Farage and UKIP showing how backwards their viewpoints are. They have no place in the 21st Century.

spot on, ukip want time turned back to the 1940s where a womens place was in the kitchen. UKIP are a laughing stock, but they will do a good job of splitting the tory vote, as idiots will vote for them, cos wah immigrants :rolleyes:

Way to misinterpret :rolleyes: Not gross, just needlessly distracting. My cousin is/was a midwife and was heavily involved in teaching breastfeeding to new and would be mums, I'm all for it.
I'm just trying to point out that there is a difference from sitting holding your baby at your chest, to having it casually hanging of a nipple whilst standing in the entrance to a room.

so Farage should be an ex-member due to his views aired today I take it?

ukip= scoailly acceptable racism, bnp=racist, what more is there to prove? If they had any policies other than privatise the nhs, bin working/womens rights and kick out all the foreigners then they would have some credibility, but they dont!
 
Labour and the Conservatives have a pretty clear plan of attack against UKIP, and that is don't say anything which may make the electorate look at our policies.

Nobody really knows what their manifesto says Nige sure as hell doesn't, every candidate they put up says something different and members/backers sll peddle their own myths!

To be fair, even the mainstream parties promise things before an election then do a u-turn once in power. Just because it's on paper doesn't mean they have any intention of delivering. Sad that I don't even have any faith in the party I voted for last election anymore.

Someone dig up and reanimate Lord Sutch...
 
I agree with Narj. It's not like I consider any of the main parties remotely trustworthy when it comes to delivering on pre-election promises.

It's just about saying what's needed to get into power and then doing what the hell they want for four years, at which point the charm offensive is turned on again in time for the next election.
 
not surprised at this, some politicians 'seem' to not like **** or women bits, there an indication that the person is of adult in age and therefore far to old to consider

They might not deliver the promises but at least they know what they promised Nige and his party of half wits can't even push the same message before the election!

I don't believe anything a politician says so what really puzzles me is the number of people who seem to believe in Nige an establishment politician with an awful record as an MEP he is no different to the others at best and to my mind worse for pedalling popularit lies!

You directly compared breastfeeding to having a loud conversation or chewing with your mouth open. Do you not think chewing with your mouth open is gross? You're the one arguing that breastfeeding is equivalent to being antisocial and inconsiderate to those around you.

If you're not willing to accept the essence of your own argument it really doesn't say much about the strength of your argument.
