Doesnt give you confidence with cloud keeping the saves then if it is possible to have corrupt save profiles on there. Thought the point was that it wouldnt corrupt being on the cloud or somit?

It being hosted on their servers or at home makes no difference, if they can't create a stable system of saving and storing states they messed up.
 
Ditched LHS 1914 for Bunda with a friend, finally out of my little backwater system! Good intersystem trades here in Bunda with many exciting things to see around, found my first wormhole those things are scary!

Grinding the crap out of Lakon 6 want a Asp before wipe.

There obviously needs to be some of backup process... Can you image losing 100,000,000CR and having to start from nothing again! :rolleyes:
 
I think I've decided on this. Is it worth pre ordering? I really want to play a space game. I've tried EVE so many times but always end up lost in what to do.

It's a great game with some stunning visuals and smooth gameplay. If your a fan of the Elite games you'll be right at home in this.

It is repetitive and can be a lonely experience but theres something there that just makes it feel epic.

It's worth the admission fee in my opinion.

I feel making your way through space with a few credits worth of cargo should be lonely!

So glad I got involved with this over SC.
 
Rare commodity open play running from one station 120LY ish to another and turning in for massive profit, got a tricked out type 6 100t + balling FSD (26.5LY/18.3LY Laden) easy 2.5mil/hour but not for the feint of heart ;)

Knowing anyone could sneak up on you and try to steal your cargo puts you right on the edge.. Seriously loving this game now and I kind of hope they don't do a wipe :(

Im doing the exact same thing and was trying to explain how **** scared you get hauling your entire life savings around
 
Sounds EXACTLY like the space game I've been looking for. I'm a huge space sci fi fan. So the idea of being out alone in space is good.

£35 on their site gets me the game and some form of early combat demo? Worth it or wait until it's released and buy cheaper?

I don't have a stick, but would LOVE to get a controller, in fact, is this good with a 360 controller? Have they adapted the game for it?

Its one of the few games that doesn't nurf a HOTAS yes you can play KB & M or game controller but its easily best on a stick.

Get in early the missions are not great but does give you time to configure the huge array of controls to your own liking

I'm using the 360 controller and keyboard with no problems, it works surprisingly well.

I think if you pre-order the Merc edition you get a load of extra's that won't be included on release, but I'm not sure if thats accurate.

Only 9 sleeps to go !! :p
