Hey just a quick one, does anyone know how to download a whole Facebook chat log. I know I could scroll up and up, but at 25k messages I would be there a long time, any ideas would be great because I could really do with having the whole log on my desktop for reference.

I know that Facebook offers a download all files, but it doesn't include all of he chat logs just random chunks of them which isn't very useful.

Thanks, Dan

Haha no I use the messenger app on my phone, its a method of contacting someone most of the time as opposed to text.

Just for a bit of fun though, it is less than a years worth this chat haha

Jesus just let it go, no good can come from having a copy of it handy to re-read whenever you're questioning something.

25,000 messages in a year is 55 per day.

What the hell is wrong with you?

Presumably it's being used as an instant messaging service in which case 55 messages a day in a two way conversation isn't much, do you not have conversations with people where you both say 25 sentences each?

I dread to think how many individual messages I sent back in the day over messenger services before social media became prevalent. IRC, even more so. I'm still using IRC today and have been since the late 90s...

Oh, right. I thought it was like 55 emails per day or similar. I'm not very good at driving facebook.
