Hi all,
Quick question - I'm after a stand mixer for the other half for crimbo. She'll be using it for cakes and breads mostly I think, but we don't have a proper food processor either so something that could be expanded to slice/blend would be a bonus.
Budget is about £150 tops, I've found the Kenwood Chef KMN330 Classic and Kmix KMX52 reduced to around this price (£135 and £159 respectively).
Kmix seems to have a higher price most places, yet is less powerful? Is the higher price down to it being pretty and more compact?
Which would you go for? Anything better at this price point?
Kitchen space is at a premium so tempted to go for the kmix if it's up to the job, but if it'll struggle with doughs etc I'll probably go for the Classic.
