I'm really enjoying using it! The key is prompting yourself to stand for portions of the day, as otherwise you're likely to forget and spend it sat down. The benefits of standing whilst working have been long-touted, so I'm giving it a proper try.

The desk itself is bloody heavy and very sturdy. We'll see if the motor stands the test of time, but thus far I'm very impressed considering that competitor desks can cost double!

Good to hear! I'm working a lot from home now and on the computer most of the day. So I'm thinking it could be a good long term investment for my health to get one.

My primary issue is that I can only fit a desk of 70cm depth where I need to put mine and those are 80cm deep I believe.

Is there anything important attached to the underside within 10cm of the back edge?

I'm wondering if it would be possible to saw a 10cm length off of the back without affecting the functionality of the desk.

I had a bigger one in there but it took up most of the room. However, when I go back to studying I think I'll get it back out of my dads garage. I'm hardly ever in there when I'm not studying but when I am, I live in that room.
