Here we go! Pictures of bloomin snow....

I live 600feet up a hill in Inverness. We have had 2 inches on the ground twice this week in the morning and it's done nothing but blizzard for 2 days straight now. No pictures or "OMG'ing", just continiung with life and accepting that at this time of year, this is what happens.

Do we now need to regard Edinburger and Glasweegies as Southern pansies when it comes to very normal winter weather?

I live in Edinburgh too, I was quite disappointed there wasn't really any snow last year, I'm hoping for some that falls and lands this year

I remember a couple of years back trecking through the Meadows back from a night out in Cav making an enormous snowball on the way... Good times.

we've had 16" so far this month. Still not on a par with buffalo and the 7 foot they got though.

Had a bit today, quite heavy at times but not building up due to the ground being so wet. Im working near mt slemish, (st patricks place of work as a slave according to legend). Very cold compared to a few weeks ago were temps were at a pretty nice 10c.

Chaos has hit sea level Inverness and the moron's are out trying to play.... Snowed for hour and a half, about an entire 2 inches on the ground.

Just overtook a Fiesta ST trying to get up a hill in 1st gear using 7k revs, a Megane doing the same, 2 BMW's and a Jag parked on kerbsides with hazards on and the cream of the crop being the lady in the Rav4 who crashed full on into a kerb and nearly rolled it trying to navigate a roundabout going uphill.... I have driven through all of that to go home for my sandwich and to see my dog. In my 320bhp FWD Saab with no drama. My elite manliness has tripled in the space of lunch hour.

It is deeper than ankle deep at my house. I would quite gladly let all you people who want this crap have it. Come and take it away. I'll pay you.

Snowing quite heavily here, but doesn't look like it'll stick.

I have to admit that it fills me with joy when it first snows. I think it stems from when you're at school and the slightest sign of snow means you get a day off school. Just looking out the window now and there's like 10 other people on the street doing the same .
