Energy drinks

I used to drink about 6 a day, used to love the stuff. Now if I feel the need like when I'm being tattooed I'll have a sugar free one or something. I pretty much only drink distilled water that I've distilled and put through something which adds minerals back in to it now.

I quite like the Monster Rehab still one if I fancy a change to my usual water but we're talking less than one every few months so I don't think it's going to kill me any time soon.

It's just the excess unhealthy gloop you're having to work off again. For an energy boost there are cleaner methods, for rehydration there's ORS. Drinking chemically flavoured syrup can't be good.

If he's doing that long rides he ain't doing it to burn calories lol.

Have you seen the insane amounts of carbs endurance athletes consume for them the calories are fuel foe the activity the activity isn't there to burn calories.

Why on earth distil instead of filtering then :/

I try and avoid those energy drinks as they are not good for you, occasionally when ive had lack of sleep and a lot of work hours infront of me il have a small Lucozade Orange but nothing silly over the top like those Monster drinks mentioned.

To be honest,I hardly have anything sugary drinks..i prefer still.

Energy drinks are pretty harmless when not use to excess, quality clinical studies don't show harmful effects.

Saying that, I don't understand the appeal of energy drinks, they do nothing for me. I like red bull for the taste and of course Jager Bombs, but it's not stimulating at all.

When I was prescribed amphetamine, I would go from very drowsy to wide awake and motivated in 30 minutes after taking it, that is what I would call a proper stimulant, caffeine does nothing of the sort. :/

Of course the occasional one isn't going to have negative effects the point is people drink several a day and pretty much every day . Good way of frying your CNS as well as longer term issues

If you're used to buzzing your boobs off on amphet then that's probably why you feel caffeine does nothing.

A mate of mine used to go to Tesco every lunchtime and buy a 1 litre bottle of own brand KX, or a 4 pack of Monster if it was on offer

I did go through a stage where I would drink them fairly regularly at work and also for long night drives. I've curbed that now and only really drink water at work (although I do have the odd cup of coffee) and also when out driving.

On the odd occasion I may have a Lucozade when I play football on Monday nights, but that's it really.

isn't that age, not fluoride, given it happens to everyone.

There are many things that cause calcification of the pineal gland and like you said it happens with age but then imo that's due to the accumulation of things over the years which calcify it, things like fluoride in our water. There are things you can do to stop the calcification and declassify it so I can't see why that wouldn't work if you continued doing those things as you got older. It's amazing the amount of crap left in the distiller after distilling water. I'm happy with my choice.

the majority of that "crap" you then re-add yourself.

im curious how you go about assuring the quality of your "minerals" that you add. odds are they get made in a rather crappy factory in china with lax health an safety standards.

seriously i applaud you on one of the more random oppositions to fluoride and the incredibly obscure condition to obsess over.

Locozade is a glucose drink with no caffeine
