No, I'm saying it's not the truckers who are the problem, it's usually the poor standard driving by those around them.
Lifting off and making allowances for the non drivers around you is part & parcel of my profession.
I spend most of my day lifting off, time after time, because some numb nuts has decided the nice gap I have in between me and the vehicle in front is just the place for their vehicle.
If you were to spend a bit of time in an HGV as a passenger, you'd very quickly see exactly what I mean.
Anyway, a two trailer length gap (ballpark 26 metres) wouldn't save you in an emergency stop situation @44tons!
