Oddly enough my hunter has gone from my "play for fun" character always stuck a level below my Warlock (29 vs 30) to now being almost equal* thanks to lucky drops and Xur.

* She will be level 30.8 vs my Warlock at 31 with just the Xur purchases and upgrading what she has. Once I get enough marks for the chest piece it is level 31 across the board... :eek:

I may have to rename Pigtails to Super Moody. :D

PlanetDestiny have a video review of that, and it didn't do too well. It looks nice but I'd stick with Invective tbh.

Wanted helm of saint 14 for my titan, or at least the upgrade but no joy. Rolled an engram, helm of saint 14 :D

I now have suros and the new helmet maxed out at the new stats. Happy days!
 
I upgraded red death because I want the health perk on it and thorn because it's my best primary,love it.

Corrective measure is still my favourite heavy. Despite just 300 atk its 100 round clip is just win.
 
Hmm, So i have a level 26.9 Hunter and 24 coins and can get either of these as my first Exotic:

I'm leaning towards the armour as I'd prefer my first exotic weapon to be a primary plus an extra Golden Gun could be a big advantage; any thoughts.

Armour gives you instant light of 30 so you'll jump up from level 26 to 27/28 depending on your other stuff. 28/29 when it's fully upgraded.

Being higher level means you can do the weekly strike, bag 9 coins and put them towards truth. Getting both ;)
 
Good point, shame I wont be doing the weekly this Xur cycle as I dont have the DLC; if it wasn't behind the paywall I'd have got the six coins I need for both...

Can you not get the dlc on the cheap buying a US dollar microsoft card? That's what i did and the expansion pass cost around £22 that way.

Get the armor 100%, don't worry about missing out on the rocket launcher, it isn't that amazing anyway.
The armor when maxed out will significantly bump up your light level.

Do you mean create a US account with fictional address and buy it as a separate logon on my PS4? Would it be available on my UK destiny account if I did it that way?

Just checked and I think it will take me from 26 to 28 (my existing helm is 15 light and I only need 2-3 for level 27 and another 11 to get to 28) which is a very nice bump indeed for one purchase.

You don't need the VoG for gloves dude. Just complete the quest set out by Eris and you'll get a set of +33 legendary ones ;)

I upgraded my Hunters achlyophage helmet today along with suros, icebreaker, and thorn. Already have an upgraded myth, and truth. Still got four exotic shards left and tons of sc.

Quest complete and legendary gloves popped up - super happy.

Glad I waited as I was gunna buy some gloves the other day! I had a feeling it would be pointless buying stuff just yet, with the chances that the raid would drop better gear.
 
10 marks off a Vanguard Primary and maxed until next week. Sad times :(:(

Will be level 31 once I max this helmet though so that's good, at least.
 
Anyone about that needs to do the kill on the eris bounty in skywatch????? Need a hand the guy is mental tough its like am a level 5 against a 20

Its now obsolete for everybody apart from me who still wants a mythoclast or wants to farm shards for the new level 31 vaunguard armor

I upgraded my Suros Regime and Armentarium armour for my titan! Also bought an exotic shard, might buy a couple more as well. Bit annoying he hasn't got heavy ammo instock this week.
 
Bought Truth and Achylophage Symbiote with strange coins and bought 3 helmet engrams managed to get the mask of the third man (hunter), obsidian mind (warlock) and the glasshouse (titan). Really like truth managed to get it ranked up to the last 3 upgrades and on VoG Normal i was doing 13k damage with one rocket when i get the last 3 damages on it its going to be a beast :)
