Avexir Core Red Series 8GB (2x4GB) any good?

Hi,

I am completely clueless when it comes to ddr3 and was wondering if this is any good, as ive had no luck on the 2nd market! http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-079-AR. The timings seem a bit high but I've no idea real world differences between CL11 and CL9,the rest of the system is:

2500k
Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3
6870

Any advice would be appreciated!

Personally unless your benchmarking then day to day usage you would not see any performance gains between between the two timings.

I don't know why the Red LED kits are £49.99 yet the Blue LED kits are £59.99, my whole lighting is blue so putting red into it is stupid.

I had 2 of these kits (4 sticks) in my Rampage Extreme IV and it ran faultlessly at 1600mhz. It would not budge above that in speed but it looked pretty! Swapped out in the end for 32gb Corsair Vengeance (8 sticks) as substance > style for me.
