My homeplug stopped working, advice please?

Hi all, my homeplug recently stopped working, and as a result I have had to revert back to a wireless connection to the router.

There is no signal at all coming from the device, and none of the lights are on.

Here is a picture of the plug:

Any ideas as to what the issue could be? :confused:

Could be a build up of static electricity resulting from the carpet? Everything else looks fine.
