Now live in Scotland !
Im now thinking of going 4K . i get a new replacement system in a month or so that comes with a 5960 extreme cpu and 3 way gtx980's .

now my budget will be about £450 , and at the moment i am using an Asus PB278Q overclocked to 85hz and gaming is fine with a GTX690 .

Now im hearing good things about the PB287Q 4K screens with the 1ms response time.

I don't use my current screen for professional use as i mostly use it for gaming and as i was undecided about keeping my replacement system i might a swell make the most out of 4k gaming .

any views in which monitor to go fo and will i notice much difference going from ips to Tn ?

The 4k monitor that has the real world best response times and less motion blur is the Acer 4k g-sync one after reading reviews from the internet about them all. It also has great input lag. The Asus one has response times more like middle of the road IPS. G-sync is also a must for 4k as not all games run in SLI. I have used 4k myself and now own the Rog Swift 1440p g-sync.

I might wait for 4K G sync then as i already own a 1440p asus monitor that does pretty well at 85hz overclock . no point spending all that money just for refresh rate on the ROG monitor .

100% Go for the http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-076-AS&groupid=17&catid=1895

The Screen is going to be MINT ! IPS at 4K :) Can't go wrong , Overclockers have it priced just a little to high thou ...

A bit expensive . I think Asus will release a 28" 4K GSYNC soon .not sure how long we will be waiting .

had a look at the Acer version but looks a bit ugly .

but for £420 and a bargain i might just get this in january .http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-071-AS&groupid=17&catid=1895

then there is this but is it worth the extra £150 notes
