Carbide 240 Cable Management

Hi All,

Going to be building a Micro build in the Carbide 240.

Just a quick question for owners of the case.

Do you recommend any cable extension or did you find the PSU had long enough cables?

I want it looking very neat and tidy inside.

Going to put a Superflower Leadex modular PSU in there.
 
All the cables will be long enough as it's quite a small case, as for looking tidy because the psu has its own compartment and there's plenty of space for the cables it wouldn't hurt to get some braided extensions to make it look even neater. If you haven't looked at power supplies yet take a look at the bit fenix ones, they come pre braided.

Also check the air 240 thread, lots of pics of people's builds to get ideas.

Yes the Bitfenix cables are very nice but I'm going for a Superflower based on them being very highly regarded.

Are the Bitfenix ones just as good?

I notice you can buy the braided Bitfenix cables separately so could always do that.

I was going to go for all black cables with an AIO with green fluid, and the 970 reference with the glowing green logo, should look pretty good I hope.

I'm not sure on the green braided cables, I think that much green might be over kill.
 
You can shop around online, there is a UK based custom cable braider who could do you a mix, say for instance an 8 pin pcie with black-green-black-green. You will pay more but it will be your own. Will trust you the site of you have trust set up.

I have no idea how I would set that up I'm afraid.
