27" 1080p Monitor

Hello all,

I am after a 27" 1080p monitor, mainly for console/PC gaming and movies.

I was set on getting an IPS panel, as I dont really play any twitch shooters (Mostly RPGs and Strategy).

The following have peaked my interest;

Dell P2714H

Asus VX279Q

how do these fair? any other suggestions?

I dont really have a budget, willing to pay the price for the correct monitor.

What GPU do you have ? have you considered going IPS 1440p

PS4 can barely output 1080p. would look horrid on 1440p. lol

damn it. been looking at so many monitors its all just become a blurr of model numbers and specs.

its surprisingly difficult to find decent 27" 1080p monitors.

i would just jump on to the asus, but the fixed stand is putting me off.

Yeah was just looking on here don't seem a lot of choice in the 27" 1080p category

Hooked my brother up with an AOC I2757FM a few months ago. He uses it as a second display for his laptop and his PS4 and he's been very happy with it.

Seem like a good option i have found a review and they seem to like it.
