Best Times of Year For PC Purchase

If you are looking to buy new you can pick up good deals around black Friday and the week following I expect those deals are all gone now. If you are buying second hand now is a pretty good time as a lot of people upgraded their systems at that time.
 
So guys, the price different between Jan and Feb next year will stay around the same price?

I'm contemplating another months pay before buying a PC. That would give me around 2k to play with.
 
Having a huge budget is difficult to spend!
Most PC's can have maximum performance @ 1440p for around 1.2k.

The release of 970's and fall of 290/290X's means mega graphics performance is fairly cheap.

Well for me it would probably be about 1.5/1.6 for the actual PC. I would need a monitor to go along with it.
