Mrs from Dunkerque, North france so I've had a few of these..

The 3 Monts 'Grand Reserve' is a little more potent at 9.5% but the normal stuff really good (I normally get a crate or two on the crossing).

I had Des Cats but wasn't as impressed, althouh it's drinkable..

1664 seems to taste different in france and quite nice.

Will have to look out for the others :D

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

You can buy it by the CRATE?!?!!?

This is one of my top 5 beers of all time, I love every moment I get to have a bottle of it

Oh yes :D 75cl wine sized bottles too..

Here's my first taste - at the family table (the pizza is because I'm lactose intolerant to a degree):

Normal 3 monts:

Grand Reserve 3 monts:

Oh - do I get some points for French beer - made from wine?

It's like a weaker fruit beer - has a reputation for going nuts when opened but not in the same league as 3 monts..

That looks amazing! Went and picked up the last 3 monts at my local place and got a funny look because I think I am the only person around here that buys it... (when I first saw it on my way out I walked back in and picked up 2)

Pretty much the best french beer out there, with a notable mention to the red kronenbourg :)

Dammit I've come on holiday and not taken a picture of this weeks beer.

Wonder if I'll find any Geuze beers in Berlin?
