Win a BitFenix Colossus M Case!

Not to be a saw loser but the winning entry is just a stock image with a logo stuck on top of it. Forgive me if I'm wrong bit I'm pretty sure I've had that wallpaper on my phone as a background .

Very sorry if you did indeed manually create all the 3d effects than you truly deserve to win but I'm sure I've seen that image around

No offence stoke1863 but in all fairness yours is not really much different from the picture that BitFenix used back in 2013...

It's just a bit of fun for a forum competition.

I Used the image from the link that was supplied. Mine is totally different than Slapping a logo on a stock photo. Yes I used a case photo supplied from bitfenix .

Congrats to the winner anyway. I suppose it is just a bit of fun and his does work well as a desktop wallpaper

Fun or not it's cheating, the whole point of the competition is to design your own not take someone elses and put the Bitfenix logo on which takes a whole minute in photoshop.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you that it is a bit unfair but at the end of the day it technically wasn't against the rules:

Just note next time - google "insert company / brand / product here" wallpaper and submit that instead of taking the time in Photoshop to create your own :p

Code:
Rules:
- Include the BitFenix logo
- Make sure the resolution is at least 1080px
- You can enter as many times as you like
- And finally, make sure the wallpaper is awesome!

Isn't the background part of the Lenovo Thinkpad range?
I'm sure I saw it from there.

Using stock images is fine in my books as long as they're copyright free :p.
No need for the arguments though aha.

I am sure if BitFenix plan to use this wallpaper they can ask permission from whoever the main render belongs to? :D

(Weirdguy has yet to confirm if he did render this himself though, so it might not be an issue.)

Well this is a nice surprise. Thanks all! :D

Have to say, I enjoyed this competition a lot. I ended up spending the last 2 days making wallpapers like the one I entered.

I can assure you it's not a stock photo! I wouldn't cheat all you fine folk like that. :) The whole octagon pillars design thing has been a bit of trend the last few years so it's not surprising it looks familiar. Here's a screenshot of the C4D project anyway.

Good effort weirdGuy! Good to see you made the render yourself.

Just looked at Cinema 4D for having a play with! £3,120.00 inc VAT!!

Can't compete with that! I Think I will just buy myself a new case and stick with Gimpshop at home and photoshop at work :)

Get Blender http://www.blender.org/. It's free and what I've used for previous entries like this: http://www.rcsmith.co.uk/pixels/ocuk-desktop-wallpaper/

Completely missed this competition :( but a nice clean winning entry, good work.
