Not as far as I'm aware. There are a lot of very small and not entirely necessary things the game could do with that would hugely improve it though. That is one of those things, along with being able to store modules in your cargo bay and haul them around!
 
As a beta backer I'm guessing I got the Merc Edition which afaik is an Eagle, a merc paintjob and a few skull emblems as part of my package?

I'm glad I got really early access because I'm not convinced that's worth another tenner :-/
 
Odd... Chasing someone with a bounty, security steps in, I accidentally fire upon them as they fly infront of me, and suddenly I'm the bad guy... Just had to force quit as they were about to blow me up.
 
So I'm supercruising and drop due to planet in the way, now the thing i need to fly too seems to be behind the planet so am I supposed to fly over it (which will takes ages) to realign? I tried supercruising again but I drop out all the time as too close to the planet.

You should supercruise away from the planet, it should tell you to align with an escape trajectory. Then it should be as simple as supercruising around the planet and being in your way.

Yep it is definitely good value, I have it the way you describe with an X4 keyboard. Check a page or two back and I posted a pretty picture.

Well the funny thing is you cant fly through solid objects...

So yes. Fly around and realign.

Got round in the end with the vector as you said.

I didn't explain myself well :o

In SC trying to get 5.2ly away and the distance isn't going down (but a days counter is slowly) and I swear I've been heading towards it for like 10 minutes now. Edit: oops didn't realise I had to jump again, I swear I hit like 10 suns trying to do one bloody jump.

Probably flying too close to the planet, which will slow you down to 100Km/s (iirc).

Stupid bounty system, got 90000~cr tonight, Eagle flies right into me blows me up and I lose everything. Am I meant to fly 100+ly (in some cases) after every single kill just in case? It doesn't work, IMO.
 
Haven't noticed any tbh. Is there a way to see what your current mission(s) are? I've totally forgotten what I was supposed to be doing.
 
Ah yes thanks. One more before I go, I thought being in the blue on throttle in SC was supposed to get you safely to your locked destination? I keep overshooting.
