You are supposed to go exploring only to discover a sun in every single jump you go to which you cant scan. I'm all for not having my hand held but this gets a bit ridiculous.

I've not had much time to play so far, I spent some time last night going through the various tutorials, I was then happy that I could fly the ship okay, some basic combat, docking, and I thought I was pretty much okay with the navigating.

I didn't have much time left at this point but started a game, and there I was sat in my ship not really knowing what to do, I looked at the bulletin board and there were a few jobs from people wanting some goods, but as far as I could tell no way to buy any goods where I was docked.

I plan to play some more as soon as I have time and I'm sure I'll work it all out, but I think a little more hand holding to start with would have been nice.
 
I mean I have tried tried and tried do anything in this game and I keep failing.

I now have to drop off some ****** cargo to 'future of LHs 3447 or something like that. I've jumped to the star, now what? Where is this place? I have no idea where to go, no indicators, nothing. There is nothing helping at all, I get the game is hardcore etc but I am literally clueless.

Seriously, just watch a couple of YouTube vids and you'll work it out.

Left hand panel, one of the tabs shows your missions, select it and it will tell you exactly which station or outpost you need to go to, then go back to the navigation panel, select the correct station and target and super cruise to it.
 
Not to mention the god awful slowdown, GPU usage crawls to a halt and all systems look the same. What a let down, would do anything to get a refund.

It doesn't though, just says bring it to future of LHs 3447 which is some kind of group or federation.

I went to a starport in the system and there was no option to drop anything off, that is an hour of my life wasted. Total waste of time.
 
There is a bug where you jump into a system and no suns or planets come up for scanning, normally when the server is very busy it can take 5 min to give you the option to actually target and scan anything.

Firing off the discovery scanner does nothing when its lagging

If you're in the right station, go to bulletin board and the mission ready to be completed will be at the top of the list by itself or with others completed that are to be handed in there.
