*** Show us your Dogs ***

Has nobody else ever wondered why dogs pose for photographs?
I've never not known one to stop, look at the camera and have it's picture taken.
Did this start with cavemen drawing them in caves?

Nellie our female Boxer ..

Had two GSP's that were fully trained working gundogs, even after an 8 hour day rough shooting they were buzzing with energy. After half that I was knackered.

Gotta love Short-Haired German Pointers but they have so much energy. This is the missus's dog Woody (aka Mr. Sniff) he loves tennis balls and swimming:

Agreed! Although having two of them does help as they play with each other and tire one another out. Our 2yr old pointer loves a swim - the pup hasn't tried it yet!

This is Berni when he was a pup, he'a French Braque crossed with a Lab (I think). He was found dumped in a forest during a cold Christmas period 3 years ago with his 2 brothers. He was the runt of the litter and looked very fragile & ill when we got him at 3 months old.

Here he is now

He certainly is, but in a good way. Never seen a dog with so much love to give. He's a very good boy :)

That'll be the bull terrier half. Nothing gives love like a bull terrier. It's just very rough sometimes. We had a collie / springer mix when I was a kid for several months. It was absolute mustard. Allegedly he ran away... I suspect my dad might have given it away to a dog handler friend in the police as a dog for them. :( Best memory of him is he ate a bush out of a big planter and took to sitting in the planter. He'd sway slightly in the wind. It was about the time the Prudential advert was on TV, so when someone spotted him doing it they'd say "I want to be a tree" like in the advert.
