Looking for a wireless headset with mic for about £70.

The Hyper x cloud gaming headset seems to get good reviews.

Any other sets i could be looking at?

I have a wired headset and mic but i hate the wires so it has to be wireless.

HyperX Cloud, is wired. Not sure there is much choice for wireless headsets for £70. Logitech G930 seems a popular wireless choice. There's also Corsair 2100 as well.

hmm, im sure i saw a wireless version. unless i had a few tabs open and looked at the wrong name to the picture :p

The corsair was my other choice but they cost around £100.

May be keep an eye out on OcUK's Christmas calendar to see if they appear as well as today's only deals.

They might still have some old stock of the 2100 (the Corsair Vengence branding not the new Corsair Gaming branding) to clear...they did go for £75 a few weeks back.

I would say stay away from the corsair 2100.. I own a pair and they are dreadful. The sound is mediocre at best and they are the most uncomfortable headsets ive ever tried not to mentioned the software package is not that great either.

Can't say I'm surprised. I wouldn't expect any wireless headset to sound good. Personally, I would prefer to put up with wires every time, than have poor sound quality. Maybe for some, sound quality is less important than convenience. ;)

I really can't be doing with them. wireless sound will be fine. ive ran over and cut the wires of 2 headphones and 1 mic so im done with wires.

Just been looking at getting the HyperX Cloud headphones but they are now out of stock.

Anyone have any ideas when they will be back instock? wanted to get them before xmas.

I got a pair of Hyper X Cloud about a month back and paired with the Xonar D2 i have they sound amazing. They might not be the greatest out there by far but for the money I really can't fault them. After wearing them in for about a week they haven't missed a beat. (Pardon the pun). I may get myself a Amp at some point. But they still do fine without one for the time being.

I'm in love with some of the low bass they can produce with the Xonar control panel Flexbass turned off. And the clarity is still there to appreciate also.

Not bad. Not bad at all :)
