ok got 2 new cards. ALL STOCK NO OC.
Both cards very stable on there own. In PCI-E 1

Card A is in PCI-E slot 1.
Card B is in PCI_E slot 3. All stable. Very high INTEL Burn. Vally for Hours.

But if i put,

Card B Into PCI-E slot 1
Card A Into PCI-E Slot 3 None Stable, Very High INTEL Burn Crash 30 sec's
Vally crash Half way through.

Power Surply is 1500I This did have 3 gtx 780 ti's all working Fine.
Now witch card or ards do i send back.
And after 12 years building pc's im stumped at this problem.

Leave card A in slot 1 and card B in slot 3 and enjoy life? :)

LOL. Well been pulling my hair out, Thought it was Ram or cpu, gone.
But if there is a problem now, Could get worse.
+ i will be selling these's soon. so carnt give these's to someone else.

So your not helping lol

Try both cards in another PC/motherboard(s) to see if you can replicate the fault, this will narrow the problem down to the cards or the motherboard.

Not got another PC around. To test that. Top card has well runs 12c higher, than the other card, 80c and thottle's down too 1328 not inpressed with these cards to be honest,

Thats how i found this problem by putting the cooler card in top. I know top always runs hotter. more volt's for cableEct, But 12c more ?

Will get RMA send these back. For custom cooling not inpressed, Will change brand me think's.
Would love to know what that main problems is tho.

after 12 years, new card every year or 2 years never seen this problem before.

wow after 20 mins of Heaven top card 80c
Bottom card 67c 13c differant. But can not put bottom card in top :(
Any strest testing will force the computer to restart .

The Gigabyte cards are some of the coolest running, so any others you get will probably end up similar or worse.

They're cool running as individual cards, but jam two close together and you will have temp issues on the top card. I've seen 84c on mine, bottom one never go's over 65c.

Space them out better.

In my situation that's not possible. For sli which requires 2 x8 slots minimum, there only is two slots like this. Hence most mainstream Z series boards only do dual sli or tri xfire. The latter works ok in a x4 slot.

They are space out, But when you buy a card with 600 wats cooling on them. and they can not keep them from thottling, This is a bad card. Hence the reason i changed them around, then this new problem pops up. Ring overclockers uk see what they say.

Thanks all Have a good Xmass

Kind regards morpahsu

Spoke to overclockers, And the person who i spoke too says he has had this problem before.
Ive had 6600 8800 280 480 680 780 now 980.'s all sli... Never seen this problem before.

I thought for days it was the RAM, Cpu or motherboard. powersurply. problem. But changing the cards around. or just useing one. works.

My 780ti's SLI was on air for 1 month. then on water, then 6 months after got 3rd on water.
So them cards have been in and out of that motherboard a few time.s

and to add to the problem ASUS rog Swift and displayport cables Are a major problem. If you use any cable over 1.8m.
