Need more SATA ports

plug in the sata cables first then the gpu?

those add in cards use poor performing marvell controlled ports

The gap between the card and the sata port is so tiny it doesn't allow for the plug of the sata cable :/

Performance is not essential here, the stuff that needs to go fast is in the ssd. How bad are the ports on those cards? Can I expect them or something similar to be back in stock soonish?
 
they aren't too bad but not intel sata3 speeds

maybe 350-400 read/write,far as I know they use first gen marvell controller

not sure with stock
