We all know we have not for enough houses at present its causing prices to rise so a lot of people can only dream of owning their own home. Building houses everywhere is ruining towns and villages as the services are not being added. What is the answer you ask?

do you think should we be housing the world if you come here you should be able to provide a roof over you're own head and have a job to provide for yourself and family surely it's not much to ask if you want to live in this wonderful country.

Am I being unreasonable, some here no doubt of the liberal kind will think so but why?

So why is the solution "bash the foreigner" rather than "build houses AND appropriate services"?
 
Can you do an FOI of all council to see if foreigners or "native brits" were better for paying their rent on time?

Seeing as immigrants more than pay their way, I'm happy with it tbh.
 
Council houses represent what, less than 4% of total houses? If 10% of those were given to the dirty foreigners, we're talking about 0.4%, which seems to be your "answer"?

Well, that's one problem solved then, kick the job stealers out and 4 out of 1000 people in the UK will have houses! :rolleyes:
 
With the way OP goes on about foreigners, religious extremist and all, I was expecting more than 10% of Council Rentals - which in effect represent a lot smaller %age in general, all rented to extremist ready to drive vehicles...

/sidetracked.

I personally don't care if the owner is whatever race, creed or wherever they call Homeland.

Just need to build more quality houses that don't contain +1 room that's the size of a boiler closet. Around my area, new builds a definite no go but plenty of people are snapping it up despite the prices compared to a >10 year old house costing at least 25% lesser, some don't even need further work and is move in ready!
 
Chronic housing under investment, starting way back in the Thatcher years when the Conservatives started selling of Council houses.

Add to that mismanagement and underinvestment in other services results in the issues we have now. However it's clearly all just Johnny Foreigners fault.

First all these forefingers live 8 to a room working under minimum wage to steal our jobs

Now they all have/rent at crazy inflated market rates, apartments and flats where good honest British dolescum can live?

If you are talking about refugees and asylum seekers then yes it is our duty as a civilized nation to try and help them. (chances are our or US soldiers helped them homeless in the first place sadly)
 
How are people going to pay for this affordable housing? Until there's a liveable minimum wage (and employers caught paying less get jailed) and jobs where the new homes and supporting infrastructure are built, I can't see this having a simple solution?

I don't think the situation is helped by the current housing benefit system, but that's an argument for another thread.

I think it's a conspiracy to undermine the British working class. Basically the ruling class loves immigration.

Immigrants work (at companies owned by the ruling class) for less

Immigrants don't strike

Immigrants work harder and are more prepared to do things indigenous won't

Immigrants are happy with less

It's also easier to control lots of separate groups of people (different ethnicities), divide an conquer.

The ruling and middle classes don't much care about the housing shortage because they don't live amongst immigrants. There's no way ruling elite are going to ruin their towns and villages building new cheap housing so the poor British can move in and breed.

Politicians pretend that they are on our side by saying things like wanting to slow down immigration or stop it. They control this island, and they choose to let them in.
