The newest Sherlock is pretty good! I can't remember what it is called but it looks fantastic and the puzzles are pretty good.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments.
A few of the podcasters I listen to say positive things about it.
Never played them through but the recent Sherlock game(s) looked quite nice with surprising attention to detail so as to mask the normal give aways like repetitively tiled textures and low poly geometry, etc. even if maybe not quite the latest and greatest gen of graphics and seemed decent enough as detective games go but I had too many other demands on my time to sit down and do them justice.
I'd throw Dishonored into the mix as well as while its not really a detective game there are some overlaps into the genre in the general style and settings and a few secrets to puzzle out, etc.

Got this in the Square Enix mystery box and it seems quite good so far.

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes is good, so is the new one. They both get slow at times but that's all part of the game I guess. The cases you have to solve are really well thought out.

Sherlock crimes and punishment is great fun, didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I do. Unreal engine so good graphics too.
