Hi guys,

Having a real tough decision to make whether to keep my 3 Samsung S34E790C 23" monitors or sell them and buy the new Samsung S34E790C 34" curve monitor?

Pros of the new monitor:
- I can mount it to the wall so I have much more desk space - Currently have to squeeze my game consoles sideways behind the monitors.
- No big black monitor casing edges between each monitor.
- Curved.
- Better display specs.

Cons of the new monitor:
- Will be essentially losing a monitor (size wize) but can snap windows together?
- Response time is 2ms slower but the games I play on the PC now are not really high-quality (Hearthstone + WoW)

Please advise!
Will upload image for better understanding :)

You would be downgrading to 60hz instead of 120hz as well (and loosing 3D, if that's important?)

I'd go for it, if it was me.

Hmm true. 3D doesn't bother me, think I used it once for Battlefield just to test it. Got a Samsung 3D TV above it that I would play my movies on.

Here's my setup:

As you can see the three consoles are pretty squished together and the right monitor is pretty angled.

Was thinking of placing the new monitor on the left hand side part of the wall and move the three consoles facing forward together on the right hand side of the desk?

P.s I had to clean my desk up lol - it's not usually this organized.

Are you actually going to be able to mount it with the sound bar where it is currently (assuming its a sound bar)?

Personally I would go for the single 34" one. Looking at the same one currently but I'm trying to wait for faster panels.

Yeah if I mount the monitor towards the left hand side I'll just move the soundbar up and align to the left of the monitor and do the same with the TV.

As currently I have to sit to the left-hand side of the table due to my desk cupboards and PC tower being on the right. In fact my middle monitor isn't even central to where I sit lol

With regards to the display differences, do you think they'll be highly noticeable?

From what you've said I don't think the response time is going to effect you much.

Personally bezels annoy the hell out of me so the single monitor set-up would be better.

You are losing some screen real estate so could you happily work on a two monitor set-up (roughly equivalent).

Ooo seems like the 34" Samsung curve monitor has dropped £200 to £799!

Made the plunge and ordered it!

Will post pics once I get it :)
