It has the widest range of topics ever. I discovered multi rotors by chance reading on the ocuk thread, I now have a X4 and am planning a build in the new year. The F1 section is great, and I love the many games threads im subscribed too as well.

I love my morning poo reading all of my subscription emails hah!

MM is 'Mature Members' sub forum.

When you get to that post count you will be able to delve into the inner depths of the OCUK Forums. Where staff give away free products, Days out, Tours round the factory, Hand holding sessions with Mods and the ability to PM other members.

That is just a few things to name that are available to 'Mature Members'

It is like being in a state of euphoria

Don't give him false hope. It's a sub forum where mature visitors can post their members for others to see and rate.

This, especially if you know the history of it. There were some dark, dark times a few years back before it finally (and thankfully) redeemed itself.

Quite. But I was just going for the smart arse comment by spoofing one of the greatest opening lines in literary history.

"It was the best of forums, it was the worst of forums, it was the forum of wisdom, it was the forum of foolishness, it was the forum of belief, it was the forum of incredulity, it was the forum of Light, it was the forum of Darkness, it was the forum of hope, it was the forum of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to banned, we were all going direct to permabanned - in short, the forum was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only."

I know it was a quote (Im old enough to recognise it), but it could easily have been used to reflect your own thoughts, and I then took it and used it for my post... no need for you to make a follow-up to explain it. ;)

I still check in daily and still post, but the forum has gone downhill.

It used to be a friendly place where you got good debates, good advice etc, but now it seems to be the norm for some posters to immediately take the moral high ground in attempts to make themselves appear intellectually superior and scowl down on us inferior lifeforms - when all they do is come across as ass's.

But like i say, i still visit, i just don't post as much.

.

lol... that hasn't changed one jot in the nigh-on 10 years I have been a member. It's always been that way, whether you noticed it or not. :p

I havent tried any other pc forums, but in general this is a very good forum, freindly enough community (if ever so slightly right wing) and covers a good breadth outside of just pc's. And the mods seem to hold the fort rather well.

This forum is awful, I only come here to remind myself of how bad it could be. I visit upmarket social sites such as 4chon and readit.
