Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox One & 360)

What are the car/engine noises like on this game? Having played Forza's in the past it always annoyed me how most of the cars sounded the same and quite droney...

I want to hear the difference between a straight 6 and a V6, or a V8, or a Turbo powered car, etc.

They're very accurate, as they have been since Forza 3.

Do you guys play with damage on etc online?

I have a little golf which hammers people on the first corner but they all ram the **** out of me and then i am doing 80mph for the rest of the race haha.

They seem to crash and still fly off.

Nope, I've not tried Forza 5, but found Forza 4 the same, droney noise.

Yup.

Watched some videos on Youtube last night and it confirms they sound very droney still. I listened to the 350Z (a car I own) and it sounds like a 4 cylinder engine to me, no V6 purr... Perhaps its my sound system or the fact you are all using XBox One's and I'm using the 360....

There's your problem.

Cars sound epic in 5 and FH2. There is a real growl to the good stuff!

Even turbo machines sound good.

THing is its all about points though if you are talking racing people online, I find I get more points in the middle of the group, drifting, overtaking drafting etc.

Loving it so far. Had to convert the supra to AWD it was unbearable!

Need to find a car to fit use as S2 now

Hah nice! I finished all 168 championships and I still don't have enough money to buy all the cars. Estimating the car prices left to buy I still have to make around 10 million or so. I had about 25 million after completing all 168 championships!

I think ive spent more time in the show rooms and garage buying cars then tuning them to be honest.

You have to progress a certain amount through single player mode. I think once you've visited each city at least once, all currently locked options will unlock.
