ASUS Z97 PRO 'Unknown Device'

I just installed Windows 7 on my new PC, but in device manager I get an unknown device with the hardware ID 'ACPI\PNP0A0A'. I've installed all drivers (including chipset and mei), but this unknown device won't go away. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Apparently If you install the "Asus COM" service this will get recognized as a "AMDA000" interface. Or it may be the Asus probe sense thermal driver

This is already installed looking at the services installed on the computer and it is enabled and running, and it is still detected as an unknown device in device manager
