I now use Wordery for books and its often cheaper.

For Dvds there are a few places which are also often cheaper.

But it seems with cds you are screwed unless you use amazon.

Anyone got any ideas?

I buy second hand CDs from Amazon because they're peanuts. I usually buy new releases directly from artists through things like bandcamp, or from their record label or own website. Sometimes Discogs for CDs if Amazon doesn't have it, or it's cheaper, but mostly use Discogs for vinyl.

The Europe release was [clean]. It appears that the US and Australian releases are [explicit]. Edit: Australian release is also clean. Just checked.

The cheapest option doesn't have the bonus CD.

Most sellers will give discounts if you bulk order. You can also message the seller before you buy confirming whether or not it is the explicit version. You can also make an offer if you think what they're asking is too much.

When you search for an artist you're taken to the artists Discogs page. Then you go to the page of the respective release you're interested in which is considered the "master" page. The "master" is usually just an overview of that particular release, then you scroll down and look for a particular version of that release. Which is usually identified by it's catalogue number. Many of the same releases have different catalogue numbers depending on where they were released (US compared to Europe or Australia) when they were released (different dates, some original release dates, some re-issue dates) whether the release is clean or explicit, what format the release came on (CD, DVD, Cassette or Vinyl).

That way it's very easy to pin down exactly the release you're looking for.

No problem. It's a bit of a rabbit hole when you first start using it. Sometimes the prices are quite high, but it's a community of music collectors and enthusiasts, so in general they know the price and value of what they have. Usually if you can't find it on Discogs, you'll be lucky to find it anywhere else. I'm STILL trying to get a copy of "The Necks - Sex" that I've been waiting to turn up for a reasonable price for ages now.
 
Well, he does state there's only two discs.

So your best (cheapest) next option would be the guy from the UK. At the price he's selling he'll more than likely have all three discs. If you're interested in it, message him (click his username and then the "contact seller" button) before you even order to confirm it's got all three discs and is the explicit version you're after.
