Gear VR - movie settings

Anyone wanting to know the best settings for re-coding movie/video files try follow my settings..
Iv been playing with it for days and found the settings to be the best so far for good quality & file sizes around the 2gb to 5gb depending on the bitrate & video length

for most the movies/videos iv done so far i used the settings below,

3D -
1920x540 or 1920x544
codec - H.264/MP4
Avg kbps - 4000 or 5000
H.264 Level - 4.1
MP3 (lame) as others was causing problems when coming from TrueHD & DTS-HD
bitrate - 160 or 320

for normal HD movie/vids
1280x720
all other settings same as for 3D.....

very useful dude, thanks! ill keep this for when i finally get my hands on mine. (well.... if and when they ever give a uk release date....)

received it Christmas eve from expansys UK.
far as i know, others have received some GVR's today from expansys but for some reason the site shows them as no longer available when i click my pre order link.

just got the game-pad today, not that keen on it tbh, but its the best option available for my unrooted note

WHAT?! i saw them come up on expansys a while back but didnt bother as i didnt think they would ship until uk release. that now has me insanely gutted :-(

nice job though dude, really wish i would have preordered now. id be half tempted to order from one of the other sites like clove etc, but then id probably be taking the same risk.

I was lucky to be one of the 1st to order from them as they only had 9 in stock when they sent mine out, it was also the cheapest place to get one, £149 when i pre-orederd & £159 soon after.

might be worth giving them a call tbh, they might have them in stock
