BFBC2 - Who plays?

I got to rank 50 on this bad boy on the 360, I just picked it up in the steam sales thinking there 'might' be some playing it... And low and behold, it's pretty active!!!!

I LOVE this game for it's MP, best BF since BF2 imo.

So, anyone playing this still? I'd love to play with regular players on a server I can get on well with.

Randomly, anyway to lock fps in any ini files? My GPU whines like no other due to uncapped fps. And vsync adds mouse lag so not an option.

Just use MSi to cap your frames m8, I use it to cap all my games at 60fps.

Its amazing on pc, and i agree it is 100% the best bf game since pcs bf2. Highly recommend the vietnam addon, great value for money unlike most add ons today!

A friend and i were talking about reinstalling it today funnily enough!

Played it againt recently (Oct/Nov) after discussing with my friend how much fun we had. I forgot a couple of things, such as the lack of strafe-running and prone. It was the best in its day but I'm glad that the main series returned. I am looking forward to BFBC3, fingers crossed!

I wasn't a massive fan of Vietnam tbh, but I still prefer BC2 to both BF3 and BF4.

Might reinstall this if there's a lot of players active. Really enjoyed bc2. Must've played it every night for over 18 months. No strafe/prone would take a bit of getting used to after so much bf3/4.

Also, for strafing... You can't strafe when sprinting, that's the only time lol? You can strafe normally. Also, I like no prone. Not sure why.

Love it! I'm fully addicted again and it's my new go to game, just need to find a server I like.

Puzzled by this thread, I deleted this a while ago having updated it and then discovered no servers, I'd presumed it had quietly died...

I too much prefer it to BF3 or 4 tbh.

I still play this every week along with a few friends, plenty of full servers regardless of what time you play

Think I've more time on this game than any other, such a fun game

We play a lot on the Celts Heavy Metal 2000 ticket server if you can find it.

Do you still play it regularly mate? I remember having some great matches on the vietnam expansion. Got a copy of the base game, (digital deluxe) but no optical drive now. So id have to download the whole lot via origin as im not sure if i have the game backed up anywhere.
